Michael Patrick Martinez is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with a BA in Architecture and a Minor in French, and a recent graduate of the Atlantic Acting School Full Time Conservatory. He is proud to be Managing Director of Floor Five Theatre, the 2018 Atlantic Conservatory Company. Raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Michael has been interested in design and involved in theater since high school. While at Washington University in St. Louis, Michael appeared in Of Thee I Sing, Ragtime in conjunction with the Black Rep, Alice in Wonderland, Urinetown, and Peter Pan . An artist and designer, Michael plays the flute, dances, and does technical theater. In Omaha he worked with SNAP! Theater, appearing in MilkMilkLemonade, awarded best One-Act at the Omaha Theater Arts Guild (TAG) Awards, Christmas With The Crawfords, and Next Fall for which he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor by TAG. In New York Michael has acted in Lenin’s Embalmers, the 2016 and 2019 premiere productions of The Trial Of Mrs. Surratt by Lanie Robertson with The Wandering Theater Company, the web-series Art Is Dead, as well as Like, Big Love, and the world premiere of zounds!, for which he was also the scenic designer, at the Atlantic Acting School. Michael designed the Dead End Kids 2019 production of Orphans at Access Theater and Floor Five's Edinburgh Fringe production of zounds!.
